Summer Programs

 

Plans for the 2022 summer camping season include our normal 6-week schedule.  With programs for campers finishing 1st through 12th grade, you're sure to find a week that's great for you.  

Registration for 2022 will open on February 1, 2022.

Returning families: your information has already been imported into the new system.  To verify your Email account, enter your Email address into the "Sign-In" tab, then select "Password reset."  This will allow you to verify your Email address and create an account for your family.  

 

New families: create a new account by entering your information in the "New user sign-in" tab. 

 

Refund Practice:  In the event of cancellation, all programs have a portion of their fee that is non-refundable.  $50/Mini Camp, $150/RATS & LIT, $75 all others.  A $25 cancellation fee will also be assessed. 

 

Camperships Available!  We want to help. LCLC continues its pledge to never turn a child away due to financial need.  Thanks to the St. John’s Home Board and to some very generous individual donors, we have funding available to help children get to camp.  Please use the following Financial Assistance Form to apply.

Horse Camp

Completing Grades 3-8  

Week 1: 2022 price pending

 

This exciting program offers you the opportunity to learn all about horses, riding, relationships and yourself.  Campers will spend 1.5 hours a day at Starr Point Farms, right across the road from LCLC.  The Starr Point Farms instructor has a “Certified Horsemanship Association” Level 2 riding instruction certification.  The rest of your day will be spent doing traditional camp activities on site.  Enrollment is limited to 10 campers.

Mini Camp

Completing Grades 1-3

Week 4 (July 17-20):  2022 price pending

 

A half-week camp experience with all the excitement and activities of a full camp week sized for those campers completing grades 1-3.

Together with your camp friends you can swim, play Gaga Ball, make crafts, go on nature hikes, enjoy evening campfires, play crazy camp games, take on the Climbing Tower and Zip Line, sail, and have the best week of your summer!

Night Owls 2.0!

Tentative:

Completing Grades 7-10

Week 6:  2022 price pending

 

New twist on an old favorite.  A fantastic program full of nocturnal excitement!  Spend the week exploring the wonders of the night at LCLC.  Campers still get to do “day light” activities like swimming and boating along with the added adventures of nighttime games and activities.

Sailing I & II

Completing Grades 6-12 

Week 2:  2022 price pending

Come and spend the week on beautiful Lake Chautauqua.  Learn how to rig and sail Sunfish, Lasers, and Hobie Cats.  No matter what your experience level, our staff will help you advance your skills with group instruction and individualized coaching.  When not sailing, you'll enjoy the other great camp activities we do on land.

Recruits-in-Advanced-Training for Service

(RATS)

Completed Grades 9-11

Weeks 1 & 2:  2022 price pending

A two-week program of faith, learning and growth.  Spend your first week at camp having fun and learning about service to others.  Spend your second week offsite each day in local agencies serving God’s people and making a difference.  RATS campers also get to enjoy a weekend of fun and bonding between their two weeks of camp.

Senior High Week

Completed Grades 9-12

Week 5:  2022 price pending

An affordable small group alternative to the National Youth Gathering.  This week is entirely devoted to and designed for senior high campers.  Choose from faith forming workshops, experience powerful bible studies, meaningful worships and unique evening activities.  Come and discover what living in right relationships with God and others is all about.

Alumni Family Camp

Week 2 (July 3-6):  2022 price pending

A half-week program for staff alumni and their families.  Spend some quality time at LCLC reconnecting with your family and with other LCLC staff alumni.  Current LCLC summer staff will be on hand to lead recreation, bible studies, worships, campfires, and more.  Please use the specific Alumni Family Camp.

Congregational Confirmation Camp

Generally Completing 

Grades 6-9

Week 3: 2022 price pending

 

*Program ends Friday morning.

Confirmation Camp is a program sponsored by specific congregations of the Southwestern, Genesee-Finger Lakes, and Niagara Frontier Conferences of the Upstate NY Synod.  It is not an open enrollment program as all the other LCLC programs are.  Please check with your Pastor to learn if your congregation participates in Confirmation Camp or not.
