Year-Round Facilities

The facilities at LCLC are contained on 140 acres of some of the most beautiful land on Lake Chautauqua. From our high-comfort motel-style Retreat Center, the dorm-style Redeemer Lodge, to summer-only cabins, LCLC’s facilities are available for year-round use.

Retreat Center

The Retreat Center The Retreat Center is capable of housing 48 guests within its 24 rooms.  14 of the rooms have one double bed.  The other 10 rooms have a double and a twin bed.  Each bedroom is equipped with linens, a private sink.  12 rooms have private toilet and shower facilities.  The other 12 rooms have a shower and toilet facility which is shared with one adjoining room - a great set up for families with younger children.  It offers a cozy Fireplace Lounge, large Conference Room, a library, and Chapel.   The Retreat Center also offers:
  • full professionally prepared food service for all occasions and groups
  • weekday availability in addition to weekend
  • 50-seat dining room
  • free wireless internet access
  • access to a 250+ Outdoor Chapel
  • the peace and quiet of a secluded wooded setting
  • campfire circles
  • group initiatives course, hiking trails, lake access

Other Activities

There are so many possible activities for your group at LCLC!  On your own, enjoy GaGa ball, basketball, campfires, hiking, fishing, cross-country skiing, field sports, and the beauty of the lake.  The 35' Climbing Tower and Zip-line is also available for an additional fee.

Health Center/Cottage

This winterized Cottage, which doubles as our summer camp Health Center can accommodate 1 to 6 people comfortably for a quiet time in the woods of LCLC.  Amenities include:

  • fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, oven/range, microwave, pots, pans, and dinnerware
  • carpeted living room equipped with TV, VCR, and DVD player

  • “curb-side” parking
Rental of The Cottage is available from mid August through mid June.

Redeemer Lodge

The Redeemer LodgeThis facility is ideal for smaller groups who also want to cook for themselves.  Redeemer Lodge can house up to 28 guests in its 6 sleeping quarters.  Four of the bedrooms have 3 bunks each, while two have one bunk.  This Lodge also includes self-contained shower facilities for both men and women.  One of the best features of Redeemer Lodge is its spectacular view of the lake. Both the Retreat Center and Redeemer Lodge are year-round facilities available to groups during the week as well as for popular weekend retreats.

Cabins

CabinsLCLC has 11 cabins available in the warmer weather before and after our summer camping season.  Each cabin can accommodate up to 12 guests in bunk beds, has electricity, a porch, and has access to one of two shower houses.  Cabins #1, #3, #5 and #6 have self-contained toilet and shower facilities.

St. John's Hall

A winterized dining hall that can accommodate up to 150 diners.  Our professional food service staff and kitchen is available to serve your needs while you enjoy the fantastic view of Lake Chautauqua.  St. John’s Hall has two levels which make it perfect for having a meeting or recreation on one level, while dining on the other.  In addition, there is an enclosed Fireplace Room for small group meetings, and a huge four-sided fire place in the middle of the main hall.

Outdoor Chapel

Outdoor Chapel WorshipOur Outdoor Chapel is available for congregational worship services, and private weddings.  For more information about weddings, please contact the office.

Friendship Pavilion

The PavilionOur multi-purpose picnic pavilion can seat over 150 guests around its many picnic tables.  Electrical outlets, two styles of lighting: fluorescent and incandescent, two charcoal grills, a water fountain and hose bib, and its being situated next to our basketball court and athletic field, make this the perfect location for your next church picnic, family reunion, or birthday party.

Climbing Tower & Zip Line

Our new 35' tall Climbing Tower & Zip Line can serve as an exciting bonding experience for your group.  There are three ways to reach the top: a Climbing Wall, a Cargo Net, and a traditional stairway.  Once on top, the 350' Zip Line provides a thrilling decent back to the ground.  The Rappel Wall is an additional way to descend the Tower.  Weather permitting, the Climbing Tower and Zip Line are available from spring into fall.
